before you start



Is this a good reformer Pilates app for beginners?
Yes. Foundational Pilates includes programs designed for students who are new to Pilates as well as those beginning Level 1 work. This level combines introductory and foundational programs that focus on learning Pilates exercises, understanding Reformer use, and developing technique with clear instruction.

Will reformer Pilates build core strength?
Yes. A functional core is not just about strength; it’s about the ability to engage and relax muscles as needed. Pilates emphasizes controlled movements that enhance both strength and flexibility. Exercises like roll-ups, single-leg stretches, and feet in straps are designed to engage the core dynamically, promoting stability without sacrificing mobility.

What equipment do I need to start?
A reformer and a screen. We also have mat, tower and chair workouts available.

How long are the workouts?
Classes range from 8 to 60 minutes, so there's something for a busy week or a longer session. Inside a program they're already in order, so you just do the next one whenever you train. No planning required, and you set the pace. We also organize workouts by duration (5-20 minutes, 20-30 minutes, and 30-60 minutes).

If I sign up on the web, can I still access the app (and vice versa)? 
For web: Yes, if you sign up through the web, you'll simply use the same log in and password in the Saran Pilates app.
For Mobile: Yes, Your Google Play or App Store login information will be the same login you use to access Saran Pilates on the web.
